Private Study: One day classes are based in and around Bangkok. You can be be picked up at your hotel or meet in the school's classroom in the centre of town. I will then give you an assignment brief for the day’s course. After a slide show of photographers work I will teach some fundamental photographic compositional rules that apply to photographers of all levels, unless you are coming for a top up course or ask for a more specific lesson plan. Then we get a chance to explore some of my favourite photography haunts around Bangkok.

Private Study: Three day courses give you the opportunity to see more of Bangkok and the surrounding provinces the course structure is extended to the three day period giving you the chance to further explore your photography subject. Work will be edited and assessed each evening then adjusted in Photoshop. During this time you will be taught how to edit your photography and focus and target you work. By this method you increase your understanding of your work and needs to improve your photography.

Private Study: Five Day Courses allow you to really extend your photographic understanding, not only learning the basic photographic principles needed to take good pictures but also develope your own singnature photogrpahic style. For more advance students private personal projects can be worked on. And again each course is uniquly designed for each private student or small group.

Private Study: Ten days courses open up much more of then region, again the courses will be created specially for you but you will be able to really explore Thailand and or the surrounding countries. This is not your usual "Photography Tour". The emphasis will be on learning but in some great locations too. These ten day courses really offer you a chance to grow as a photographer and are an exciting chance improve and develop greatly, while gaining a deeper understanding of the region and its people.

Small Group Workshops: Photography School Asia's Workshops are designed for people from basic to advance level to learn and improve their skills. A set of seven modules, four full day weekend classes and three evening classes, teaches students how to address various photographic issues over a two week period. Flexible dates can be arranged and lessons can be taken in your own time, if you are unable to attend every class.  We run workshops at Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced level. Private Study & Small Group Workshops: Photoshop & Photoshop Elements, Lightroom and other editing programs are taught in intensive four hour sessions by Markus Staas. These sessions are designed to give you confidence and proficiency for all levels of students, from very basic up to industry standard photographic manipulation. Markus has extensive knowledge of all post production techniques and has worked in the advertising industry using Photoshop and other manipulation programs to the highest level. He is also a fully qualified graphic artist and Photoshop technician. The price per person for these intensive, private 'one on one' sessions is only $200 USD a day.

Private One On One Studio and lighting techniques are taught in a fully equipped professional studio by photographer Markus Staas. From total basic through to commercial professional photographic techniques are taught. The six hour lesson is structured around your own specific photographic needs. Professional models can be arranged and paid for by you as an added fee if you want. Types of photography taught are, fashion, product, glamour, nude and portraiture.
