Welcome to Jonathan Taylor's Dulwich Photography Workshop Club. This forum will be used to present the Club's class schedule.
Evening classes start around 6.30 PM. I will make the schedule as flexible as I can to accommodate everyone.
Weekend workshops start at 11AM Saturdays and 12PM Sundays unless otherwise stated.
For all events please sms if you can not attend.
The price for all of the evening classes and weekend workshops is only £250 pounds. If students have laptops please bring them along to the class for picture editing.

Saturday the 19th of July 2008.
Today I will teach basic camera understanding including: Using the meter correctly. Understanding Depth of Field and how to use the camera on manual mode. Then I will teach a Compositional Workshop, where some easily applied but essential rules are learnt. The workshop starts with a slide show followed by practical study then group critique

Thursday the 24th of July 2008
Tonight I will teach some easy techniques using Photoshop. How adjust levels and curves using layers. Also the best way to convert digital images into Black and White. Then you will be asked to do some photography using Slow Shutter speeds to create Blur,Tripod Use and Night Photography with no flash. If you have a tripod please bring it along but actually there are ways to get around things even with out extra legs.

This is an understanding Colour Photography Workshop. We start with a Slide show then techniques are talked about and put into practice. Followed by the usual projector critique in the early evening. I have found some great photographers work to show you and help illustrate the day's brief.

Tonight we will be looking at the best way to shoot using simple Flash Photography techniques. You will be given the brief followed by practical application and group critique.

Feature and Documentary Photography Workshop: This class teaches how to approach a photographic story, from conception to completion. It shows the method of producing a set of photographs with a narrative and talks about the markets available for the piece.

Monday the 4th of August 2008
Tonight we look at the Feature and Documentary photographs you did over the weekend. Also I will run a Photo-Clinic addressing any questions you may after your Photography Club sessions.
